What Does A Vibration Sensor Do?

Oct 31, 2017

Vibration sensors mainly monitor the vibration of rotating machinery, each device has its own vibration standard, more than the vibration value, indicating that the machine failure, so the vibration sensor is to play a protective effect on the vibration.

Vibration sensor is divided into two types of magnetic and piezoelectric, magnetic structure is simple, low price, but the accuracy is poor, now commonly used is a piezoelectric sensor, the measurement accuracy is higher.

The vibration sensor first senses the vibration acceleration, gets the velocity through the integral, the second integral gets the displacement, but the acceleration and displacement will be affected by the frequency, and the national vibration standard is called the vibration intensity, that is, the effective value of the vibration velocity, so the vibration is usually monitored speed.
